On Saturday, October 10, the TriUU Welcoming Congregation Team hosted our second annual Pride Celebration. To build on the success of last year’s celebration, we invited our friends from UUCLC to join us.

Members of both congregations gathered at TriUU from 10 a.m. to noon to celebrate National Coming Out Day, with light snacks, conversation and community — and, as promised, glitter blessings from Rev. Kristina.

Here are some moments from the morning.

The fellowship hall decorated with a rainbow PRIDE banner, members seated at round tables.
Two members behind the refreshment counter, draped with a Progress Pride flag that reads "Every One Is Welcome Here."
A table covered in a rainbow cloth and filled with snacks and baked treats.
A member in a purple T-shirt speaks at the microphone beside a National Coming Out Day slide.
Members at round tables listening to a speaker at the front of the room.
Two members at the front of the room beneath an LGBTQ Welcoming Congregation slide; one holds a glass trophy while the other reads from a page.
Three members talking at a table; one holds a microphone.
A member speaks at the microphone, with an old photograph on the screen behind her.
A member in a light blue shirt speaks into a microphone while others listen at their tables.

A glitter blessing being given.
